Safety Buffer Configuration
The Safety Buffer is a configurable time margin added to delivery calculations to ensure fuel orders arrive before critical shortages occur.
- safety_buffer_days: Additional days added to supplier delivery time when calculating order deadlines. Prevents last-minute ordering that could lead to stockouts.
- transfer_safety_buffer_percent: Extra fuel amount (as percentage) added to transfer quantities to account for unexpected consumption or delays.
- redirect_allowed_days_before_delivery: Maximum days before delivery when orders can be redirected to another station. Only applies to orders with status 'in_transit'.
Formula: Order Deadline = Critical Date - Delivery Time - Safety Buffer
